On 5-7-2013 SAVES, MVFC and SFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rt 321, 2 patients were transported to a local hospital there were no reported serious injuries.

September 25, 2012 – At 3:17 p.m., the Mottville Fire Company, the Skaneateles Fire Department and SAVES were dispatched for a reported two car head on motor vehicle accident on Route 321 in front of the Frietag Farm.  Mottville Car 2 arrived on-scene confirming the initial dispatch and advised one individual was still inside the vehicle and extrication would be needed. Mottville and Skaneateles units extricated the patient assisting SAVES with packaging and proving Advanced Life Support Trauma Care to the patient prior to transport to a Syracuse area hospital via Mercy Flight.

On Friday afternoon 8-5-2012 SAVES responded with the Skaneateles, Mottville and Sennett Fire Dept’s. to Rt. 20 and Broadway Rd for a reported motor vehicle accident. On arrival Skaneateles C-1 reported a 2 car accident with one entrapped. Skaneateles, Mottville and Sennett FD extricated one victim that was transported to a Syracuse hospital. There were no serious injuries reported.

 Agencies assisting at the scene were: Skaneateles Police, Auburn Police, Cayuga County Sheriffs Dept. and Cayuga County Emergency Management C-1.

July 19, 2012 – At 3:17 p.m.,  the Spafford, Borodino, Amber and Skaneateles Fire Departments were activated for a barn fire at Fesko Farms on East Lake Road in the Town of Spafford.   Spafford  Car 3 was on scene within a minute of dispatch confirming a fire in the barn.  Spafford Car 1 arrived , advised  Onondaga County 911 of a Signal 99 and started a second alarm.  SAVES and MAVES (Marcellus Ambulance Vol. Emergency Service) provided Firefighter Rehabilitation and medical evaluations.

On May 3, 2012 – At 8:59 p.m. the Skaneateles, Mottville, Marcellus, Amber, Jordan, Elbridge and Borodino Fire Departments were activated for a reported structure fire with people trapped at 3375 East Lake Rd. in the Town of Skaneateles.  Skaneateles Car 1 arrived on scene and requested a second alarm.  A bulk of the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes of arrival on scene with salvage and overhaul operations taking a significantly longer period of time.

On Scene EMS Support provided by SAVES & Marcellus Ambulance (MAVES)

Other Departments included:  Owasco, Navarino, Fairmount, Fairmount, Spafford, Amber, Onondaga County Fire Investigation Unit, Skaneateles Police Department, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department.
